The "Two Suns" book review on the Labirint website

I’ve perceived amazing aftertaste after reading the novel.
The novel is developed along two tracks (in the vocabulary of the hero, Leonid, a railroad worker, a trackman) - each family goes its own way until it reaches the arrow, the intersection point.
Their destinies are artfully inscribed in the historical context and the spirit of the times itself.
It is worth noting the subtle and deep psychology of the characters and their relationships. The whole novel is imbued with the love and generosity of the characters, their resistance to the vicissitudes of fate. You can see how the characters grow, how they work on their characters, which are not at all easy, in the name of a loved one. Each of the actors is a personality that develops before the eyes of the reader.
There is another thing that is not often found in prose.
The historical canvas so accurately conveys the very breath of time, that is so exciting, and as soon as this happens you start identifying the characters with your own experience and memories of each historical period.
A very timely book, as I would say, an iconic piece/classics!
Precisely, directly and without bypassing "sensitive issues", the horrors of the "Wolfhound Age" are described. You remember how it steamrolled the lives, destinies of everyone living in the Soviet Union! This should not be forgotten under any circumstances!
Perhaps the only thing that bothered me at first was the similarity of the family names. I had to remind myself who I was talking about at the moment. But as you continue reading, you get used to it...
Generally speaking, we are happy to congratulate the author with his significant work!
I wish pleasant reading to all of you! It's worth it!
